The National Institute on Aging (NIA), the largest branch for Alzheimer’s disease research within the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has renewed the Model Organism Development and Evaluation for Late-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease (MODEL-AD) program, awarding a total of $95.8 million over the next five years to the Indiana University School of Medicine and the University of California, Irvine.
