The 24.8 Data Release includes updates to metabolomics data from human studies.

Human

  • The ADMC_ADNI_BakerLipidomics Study

This study provides metabolomics data generated using the Baker Institute targeted lipidomics platform from serum samples from the ADNI 1, GO, and 2 cohorts.. The data was generated from samples collected at the baseline visit. Quantified metabolites include sphingolipids, phosphatidylcholine, lysophosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, cholesterol, bile acids, fatty acids, acylcarnitines, and acylglycerols.

    • This update to the existing study provides assay metadata, biospecimen metadata, and individual metadata for longitudinal metabolomics samples.
  • The ADMC_ADNI_Biocrates_MxP_Q500 Study

This study aims to measure the levels of selected metabolites in 4891 human serum samples from both the ADNI-1 and ADNI-GO/2 phases of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) Study using the Biocrates MxP® Quant 500 kit. The MxP® Quant 500 assay targets over 600 metabolites from twenty-six compound groups and includes all requisite calibration standards, internal standards, and QC samples. There are five separate mass spectrometric analyses of each sample.

    • This release provides longitudinal metabolomics analyses and data dictionaries in addition to assay metadata, biospecimen metadata, and individual metadata.
