Data Release 20.6 provides epigenetic and gene expression data from the MIT_ROSMAP_Multiomics Study, updates to the SEA-AD Study, and more updates to Human studies.

Human

  • The SEA-AD study
This study provides transcriptomic and chromatin accessibility data from single nuclei isolated from brain tissue of 84 aged individuals spanning the full spectrum of Alzheimer’s disease severity and 5 neurotypical adult reference individuals. The Seattle Alzheimer’s Disease Brain Cell Atlas (SEA-AD) consortium includes the Allen Institute for Brain Science, the University of Washington, and Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute. This release provides:

    • snRNAseq data for medial entorhinal cortex, primary visual cortex, superior temporal gyrus, and lateral entorhinal cortex tissue samples
    • snATACseq data for primary visual cortex tissue samples
    • 10x Multiome data for primary visual cortex tissue samples
  • The ROSMAP Study
This study provides genomics, transcriptomic, epigenetic, proteomic, and metabolomic data on individuals as part of the Religious Orders Study (ROS) and the Memory and Aging Project (MAP) enrolled by the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center. This release provides:

    • Updated cell-type annotations for 465 single-nucleus RNA sequencing samples from the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex
    • eQTL cell type and cell subtype summary statistics generated from analysis of those DLPFC snRNAseq samples
  • The AMP-AD_DiverseCohorts Study
The AMP-AD Diverse Cohorts Study is a cross-consortium project generating harmonized datasets from diverse human cohorts. This study provides post-mortem whole genome sequencing and brain bulk RNA sequencing data from over 800 individuals, including 288 Black or African American individuals and 277 Hispanic or Latino individuals representing the spectrum of Alzheimer’s Disease phenotypes. Data is generated from research teams at Rush University, Emory University, the Mayo Clinic, Columbia University, and Mt Sinai Medical School.

    • This release provides WGS and bulk brain RNAseq from 42 additional donors
  • The MIT ROSMAP Multiomics Study
The MIT_ROSMAP_Multiomics study provides epigenetic and gene expression data from 427 selected individuals from the Religious Orders Study and Rush Memory and Aging Project (ROSMAP).

    • This release provides single-nucleus RNA sequencing, single-nucleus ATAC sequencing, and multiome data from 427 prefrontal cortex samples, and single-nucleus RNA sequencing data from multi-region samples.
