Data Release 19.6 adds immunoassay data generated on post-mortem AD brain tissue from individuals in the MC-CAA study with existing transcriptomic and genotype data.

Human

  • The MC-CAA Study
This study provides transcriptomic, genotype, and immunoassay data from two related Mayo Clinic studies focused on cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), utilizing post-mortem tissue samples from individuals neuropathologically diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

    • This release adds biochemical measurement data from 469 post-mortem AD brain specimens. Secreted proteins, membrane proteins and the neuropathologic aggregated proteins for Aβ40, Aβ42, apoE and tau were measured from TBX, TX and FA fractions by ELISAs.

Tools

  • sageseqr
sageseqr is an R package for reproducible RNAseq normalization. It takes RNA-seq gene counts and sample metadata as inputs, normalizes counts by conditional quantile normalization (CQN), removes outliers based on a user-defined threshold, empirically selects meaningful covariates and returns differential expression analysis results.
